Did you know...
Scorpions in the wild can live 2 to 10 years? In captivity they can live up to 25 years. Smaller types of scorpions are no larger than a few centimeters, but larger species can grow larger than 20 cm. Scorpions glow under ultraviolet light. The skin of a scorpion absorbs ultraviolet light and reflects it as visible light. Scorpio fossils can still fluorescence, despite the fact that they are embedded hundreds of millions of years in the rocks.
